Savage B22 Precision

Has anyone bought a Savage B22 Precision in the past 6 months or so? Has the failure to extract bug been worked out of them? What's it like accuracy wise with mid-grade ammo such as Norma Match or SK Standard? I'm thinking about buying one and trying my luck at NRL22 competition..

I don’t get this with Savage. A couple years ago I picked up a B22 and a 93R17 FV and had issues with extraction. I contacted Savage and they sent me two new extractors and springs no problem. The replacements were so much better made and much higher quality and easy peasy to install. Haven’t had a single extraction issue since. So why don’t they just put these in the rifles to begin with when it’s an obvious problem and they already have a great solution.

The last new one that I have seen showed up at a PRS22 match in August. It was less than a week old, with a new shooter that had only done one NRL22 match prior.
It didn't make it through the bonus stage before the match started. (So sight-in plus up to 15 rounds.)
I don't know how it failed, except that it was bolt related, the rifle went down mechanically, and the shooter had to borrow a CZ 457 for the match.

Overall, I do know that recent buyers of Mark IIs and A22s have been sharing some complaints about bore quality. I can't imagine Savage using different barrel manufacturing methods for the B22.
Pretty much all of our local Mark II shooters in NRL22 are now using Bergaras, Tikkas, or CZs, or moved to 10/22s. We do have one occasional A22 shooter that still seems happy with the rifle. I believe they are shooting SK Standard Plus.
