Sonic Cleaner Solution for Cleaning .22 Silencer?
I have a Banish 22 silencer, and after something like 150 rounds, I am cleaning it. This thing is a bear to take apart the first time. I had to use a mechanic's vise with rubber jaws. They need to consider applying anti-seize to the threads at the factory.
Anyway, they recommend a sonic cleaner to get the crud off the baffles. What's the best solution to use?

I believe they make some specific solutions for cleaning guns. You might check Brownell's or Midway.
Whatever you do, don't put a flammable solution in your ultrasonic cleaner. |

I would also avoid “the dip”. VERY effective at cleaning suppressors but VERY toxic…like TOXIC!!!!

I read that CLR will clean one if you let it soak overnight in a jar or something.
Three things that do not work: ammonia, laundry detergent, and citric acid. Also brake cleaner. I was thinking of hosing the parts with Powder Blast, but I can't find it.

I've heard some people use Simply Green in a US cleaner.
