Leupold discontinued reticle

I have another post running regards a scope returned to Leupold for warranty service. In my conversations with Leupold, I have discovered that.......
A SIMPLE STANDARD DUPLEX IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN THE
FREEDOM 1.5-4X MODEL

All the duplex equipped scopes have gone out to the dealers. If you like a tidy scope, on a brush gun or turkey gun, and want only a simple duplex reticle, you'd better get one from a retailer, as for present, that particular combination is no longer offered. Only the Pig Plex and the MOA ring are now available in the 1.5-4x Freedom.

That seems counter productive to me, a simple low power scope should have a simple reticle........but I don't work for Leupold.
