Weatherby/Howa magazine options

I picked up a Vanguard 6.5creed last year. Love the rifle, but I would like to have a detachable box magazine. The Legacy/Weatherby system looks cheap and plastic. The Pacific tool version is aluminum and much nicer, but the mag hangs way down and the mag release is huge and easy to hit by accident. I found the Wyatt Outdoor bottom metal that has a nicer release. I think its metal (going to call them later today). What I really want is something flush or near flush and out of the way. This is a hunting rifle not a tactical range toy. Anyone know of a nice system for the Vanguard?
