Thompson T/CR22 Scope

Any suggestions for the height of rings for a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire !! 3-9x40 scope. Thanks

If you have a grooved receiver you should do well with medium to high rings- the high ones will definitely have enough height for the 40mm bell to clear the barrel.

Well, I'll try to follow you on this one. If your scope did not come with rings, then Look at the description on a rings packaging as it may list your scope. I know for a fact that I have seen your scope, listed on Weaver rings. If you don't like Weaver, then contact the manufacturer of rings and see if they can help. I know you have a built-on Picatinny but that should not be a problem. ….

Thank for catching that Pahoo, I was thinking of the long discontinued TC semi that had a grooved receiver.

Medium height rings should easily get the OP enough clearance for the 40mm objective bell

So did you get your rings? I just received a scope but do not have the TCR22 yet. Did the medium rings clear the rear peep site with the Nikon?
