Honor Defense Slides Made By Coonan

I was reading a review of the Honor Guard, a 9mm compact pistol made by Honor Defense, in the Nov./Dec. issue of American Handgunner. The article stated that the slides are made by Coonan. The same Coonan who's website has been closed for over a year, stating the company is reorganizing?
I love my Coonan 357 and hope the company comes back. Is this a sign of hope?

Coonan made a fabulous firearm and did make some parts for Honor Defense.
But unsure they make a resurgence as a free-standing firearm company.
I would not get your hopes up.
