Need some help with a Miroku Revolver
Hey all, I have a small revolver made by a Japanese Co. The revolver is stamped: MIROKU FIREARMS MFG. CO., 38 SPECIAL CALIBER.
It looks very much like a colt detective special which I also own. This revolver is missing the ejector rod and the spring that would be used with the ejector rod and I think also a nurled end nob that would sit on the barrel end of the ejector rod. The star ratchet is with the gun. The gun works just fine and I'd like to make it complete. While it looks close to the Colt Detective Special, I'm wondering if the parts I mentioned from a Colt would fit this gun or if there is a better source for these parts? Any thoughts? Major

Not a close Colt copy, doubt the rod will fit.
If it is the Liberty Chief, Numrich has the ejector rod. https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/613530 They do not have the ejector rod for the Miroku Police Special in stock. I googled complete parts sets for both models, apparently confiscated guns kept "off the street" by cutting the frame in half, but that would be an expensive solution. |

Threading may be in metric though. If such, American made parts won't fit. You'd have to have a gunsmith with a lathe that can cut metric make it for you. Not a hard project at all.
