scope for Franklin Armory F17-L

I have recently purchased a Franklin Armory F17-L in 17 Wnchester Super Magnum. I have it in layaway. Trying to educate myself for a great scope for that rifle, caliber, and such. Would like to have a scope that has illumination.

Athlon has a 6x25 Talos model with IR, good scope for the money IMO.

Probably not too serious about shooting extreme distances with a 20 grain bullet. Probably target and maybe taking a hog once in awhile under a feeder at night.
