Great weekend, informal competition
Had a great day Saturday. To celebrate my wife being sworn in as a US citizen we invited some of her Filipino friends out for a day of eating and shooting. I smoked ribs in the morning and shot 90 rounds through my mini 14 before they showed. After they all got there I arranged a little competition for them. A dollar in the pot got 5 shot with my 10/22 at about 30 yards. I scored the targets and the high score won the pot. They shot 3 different contests and had a blast. Each one of them asked when can we do this again. My wife did me proud by getting a tie in the first contest and winning the second. She was third in the third contest. I enjoy the company and teaching them about shooting and firearm safety.

Sounds like fun-gun day, for sure.
Some of the best days at the range have been impromptu matches like yours. Like a pickup ball game. |

Informal competition is the best competition.
Informal competition is the best competition.
I have more pure fun when I'm at the range,,, And someone offers a friendly match. Quote:
