I purchased a Colt Python (6" bbl., Royal Blue) mfg. in 1980 from a pawn shop a couple of years ago. The gun is about 85-90%, but the price was quite reasonable. I would like to restore this arm to 100% condition, especially since it is not on the CA DOJ list of approved firearms and cannot be purchased in this state except through a private transfer. Does anyone know if Colt will re-blue in Royal Blue and what they might charge? You can't email those folks, and Customer Service is "out to lunch."
