Good deal on PSA?

I have a feeling that I know the answer, but let's make it official...

For a first time ar buyer, good deal? I was going to build my own, but this looks like a steal. Thoughts appreciated!

All the specials Palmetto have been running lately are excellent deals. I would get the combo with the Aimpoint PRO if it were me though. PSA rifles are of good quality.

It is a steal if you want the rail, optic and 16" with carbine length gas. PSA continues to amaze me - how much quality you get for the money. I have one and love it! (I did a lower build then topped it with a 16" PSA LW midlength upper.)

If you want a free-float forearm, then yep - that's a very good deal.

I have Vortex Strikefire optic on one of my ARs, and while it's decent, an Aimpoint PRO (which I also own) smokes it in every category. Still, that Vortex would cost you $160 if you bought it separately, and if you wanted to upgrade, it's an easy sell on ebay.

I would say it's very good deal, I went to look at the deal and found a deal of my own. I pounced because it first said the sale ended 9/6 at noon, now it says 9/9. It's pretty much just what I was making a parts list for to build myself.

Sometimes the one with the Aimpoint PRO can be had for $999.99 which ia an absolutely amazing deal. Thats like getting the PRO for $400.00 and a fully built complete milspec M4forgy for $600.00.

Just a heads up, If you see something at PSA you like and are willing to pay their prices, which are usually quite good, you had better jump on it because there is a good chance they won't last the weekend, and it may be some time before they are in stock again.

I placed an order for that upper as soon as I saw it, I'm not sure exactly when it went to "temporarily out of stock" but Monday afternoon they were gone.

How much was it? Can't see the price now that its out of stock.

I bought a similar rifle with the MI Gen2 SS handguards last year. They are excellent rifles and the handguard is very slim and lightweight. You'll definitely like it.

If you add items to "compare" on PSA's website, you can see what the price was last time they were in stock.
