NY Safe Act Compliant AR-15

Ladies and gentlemen. Children of all ages! I shall now attempt to do the impossible. Build an AR-15 in New York and legally not have to register it. I plan to do this in 3 ways.

1. Use this https://www.exilemachine.net/shop/ex...adapter-1.html

2. Pin a collapsible stock

3. Use a crowned barrel without threads or bayonet lug

I don't believe I am missing anything. If I am, please tell me. Also, does anyone know of an 18 inch chromed barrel with a full length gas port for less than $250 they would recommend?

Thanks,

Ken

Strangely... I kind of dig the look of that stock. it looks comfortable...

And to say "screw you", use a Beowulf .50 upper.

What manufacturer are you going to use for the lower? When i looked over the list seemed most of them were now banned...

I'm on a budget (If such a thing exists when building an AR)

Do you already ahve the lower? Those guys are on the ban list too... seems like all ny'ers are gonna be able to do is track down pre-ban registered lowers/rifles.

I would rather buy a Benelli MR1 with a comfort tech stock, than build what looks like an abortion to satisfy the alpha hotels that passed the NY safe act.

The Benelli is a good gun and will take any AR15 mag.

Can you build one from a 80% lower?

If I started with a lower, I'd put a Sig pistol arm brace on it.

Ah gotcha, when it said AR's in any caliber from the following companies I took it to mean they were counting the lower as the "rifle" because of the serial number.

NY Safe Act Compliant AR-15

I'd be interested in seeing the stats at how dramatically crime has decreased since this bull shat of a law went into effect... What a joke

Good luck with your build

Didn't you hear all crime of any kind has vanished in NY. They did arrest a guy for having 9 rounds in his magazine instead of the 7... Thank god.

You can build one from a 80% receiver, and I would, except that I don't have the equipment.

But I can tell you, the new law is really helping decrease crime!! Why, just yesterday I saw a bunch of criminals were registering and selling there 'high capacity' magazines and AR's. I fell so much safer...
