I will have some explaining to do

I haven't bought a new gun in a few months, even went to Cabelas this morning and didn't buy anything. Wife asked if I bought anything when I got home and told her no, just not in the market for a new one.

Got an email this morning from PSA, for scratch & dent, and they had SIG P250SC in .380 for $249.99. I fell off the wagon and ordered one. For that price I didn't think I could go wrong.

Maybe I will just tell her that her anniversary gift form her to me. Might work.

Don't you keep your own personal slush fund for purchases like this?

Light smallish 12 handy rounds of .380 with night sights for $250... Yah... That'll work.

Finally got to pick up and place a few rounds thru the P250SC. When I got it out of the box, there was no marks on it and the band was still on it. Took it to the range tonight, just to put a few rounds thru it. Put 75 rds of PMC bronze and 20 rds of Winchester PDX. Needless to say I was very happy with my $249 purchase.

Wife did say Happy Anniversary!!

unrelated to your firearm, but PSA gets me in trouble every couple months or so. I just got a new scope that I a love, but 149$ for the 1-4x Bushnell PCL AR optic "thow-down"......that's just too good a deal, even though I don't know exactly what it's going to go towards, most likely my stepdad'd gun I am building for him if the tiny reticle will work for his eyesight. all I know is, they are usually 210-239 and were even coser to 300$ when they came out. 150$, I am going for it. I bought the little Taurus pt111 from PSA when they had them sub 200$, again, didn't need another 9mm. Got an AR barrel last month for practically nothing, don't need it at all, but I will eventually right? PSA and their awesome specials, love em and hate em.

by the way, I have heard people say they wish they had faster shipping, my pistol was here in 4 days, my two lowers in 3 days. I was told something crazy like 15+ business days for complete uppers(per PSA website), mine received the Tuesday after I placed order on Friday night....that purchase I absolutely do not regret, since I saw the same upper even marked PSA on a PSA stock lower and the LGS was selling for over 1000$, claiming a great deal because the handguard alone was 200$+, he may have been right, but I got the complete upper bolt and all for $279 with the same 15" keymod hybrid rail, gorgeous. But I can attest I haven't seen any lengthy shipping issues. My LGS has a new thing with PSA, sells their blem lowers for 69$ from the store, no more FFL fees and such, so I see many more PSA lowers in my near future.

congrats on your new pistola, I am newly considering a 380 CC despite my previous dislike for the round. I am impressed with the new(some call gimmick) Lehigh Xtreme penetration, it is making me rethink the 380 and think I need to, at the very least, do my own testing before casting it off as insufficient like I have before.

I am the same way, I should get off their email list spend way too much money with them. I have never had a problem with shipping from them always here within a week.

6mm-
The key is getting her to focus on how much you saved in making this purchase and that you'd been planning on paying retail for it later in year anyway so this was just a blessing that fell in your lap. Any rational person can see that you had no other option than to purchase this now

+1

Unless you are making irresponsible purchases, as in bills aren't getting paid or something, then convincing a reluctant partner is best and rightly accomplished by framing it in terms of the benefits to "us".

I have been pretty lucky with Sigs this year.

I got the P250C 9mm, in April for $340. The P320C FDE 9mm in July for $399, and now this little P250SC in .380 for $249.99.

Been really happy with the P250C, has actually replaced my Glock 19 and Beretta PX4 and is now my primary EDC.

As for the P320C it is ok, but didn't knock my socks. Haven't decided if I am keeping it or not.

Know what you mean. I picked up a used (very good condition) p229 in .40 earlier this year. After figuring out all of the trades involved, I only have about $400 in it an am just loving it! Is my first sig but after shooting this one a bit, don't think it will be my last...

In the shipping world, everything relates to distance from a Major Post Office Facility...
Example, I keep a box in Pensacola for special deliveries, which is a Southern Hub,
consequently my favorite Marlin parts store is near a hub in Idaho...usually get stuff within 3 days from DIP

Also, if you live in/near Florida, chances are stuff from Palmetto State Armory will get to ya pretty quick

2 to 1 ratios. She gets to spend $500. Fair, no, but that's marriage.
