S&W 500 Magnum Finished (Pics)
The gun has honed internals, reduced cylinder gap, bedded grips, 1500 grit finish. Here are some pictures of the gun and its barrel shroud work. |

heres the stupid barrel shroud,
what a pain it was. work was done with a hammer, a saw, and a file and bead blaster |

What is the purpose of the shroud? Could you elaborate what and why you did it? I looks quite similar to a regular 500 barrel contour.

oh the shroud is original, the compensator came alittle loose from the previous owner. so I took off the barrel and cut 2 pieces to fill the voids in the shroud
