Got a Cooey single shot 22 ( not sure of the model number ) that I have an old 3/4" rim fire scope on... been a while since I looked at it but I don't remember any issues scoping it...
what is the model 60 ??? |

so it's a bolt action repeater, or is it a single shot ???
mine the striker must be pulled back manually to cock it... probably keeping very little kids from using the gun, as I assume it was marketed as a kids rifle... ... I originally kept mine around for my nieces & nephews... though they've all grown up now ![]() |

load the shell and its ready to go and if it miss fires you can pull the cocking knobe back and try again without expossing the breach.

Cooey rifles were made in Canada. The design is very similar to a Winchester 67 or 68.

I did some digging and I found that the HW Cooey Arms and Manufacturing model 60 repeating .22 was made between 1939-1940. I had 2 of them one with a scope and one without but I traded the one without the scope for a Ruger 10/22.
