Lube Test results.

Found this test of different greases and it got me wondering if this stuff would be good for use on the rails of a pistol. Seems to have amazing lubrication and stays put. What do you guys think?

Welcome. The answer is "maybe".

I also see no info on high temp performance.
I have used Tetra Gungrease on 1911 slide
and it seems to work fine.

Lubes can drive ya crazy.I'll stick with Dexron ATF.

A shame they didn't test Gun Butter.

I dont see how that test proved anything towards firearms...it even states that the test is invalid with guns

I called DuPont and spoke to an engineer about Krytox.

He told me - it's not good for the firearm application. It is 100% lubrication -zero corrosion resistance.

That is a little more grease than I want to use on my Garand.
