Stevens Model 77f 20 gauge

Can anyone help me with either a link to an owner's manual and such?

My ejector spring (not the claws, this sits on the receiver wall) fell out and I can't get it back in, and needing to take the shotgun down anyways so I can give it a thorough cleaning.

Any help is appreciated. I googled it and it wouldn't show anything usefull, and I know that this shotgun is obsolete but it's my only shotgun and... well I need it fixed.

Next time you run into a problem, give us time to do some research. OK?

You have the same gun as the Savage 67, a gun that has not had a very good track record.

All of us will be hapy to help you if we know what your problem is, if we know the answer.

Me too!

Just had the same problem happen to my 77F and did a search on the net to find help. Sounds like you had the exact same thing happen, but about 5 years ago. Can you tell me what you did to repair it? I've lost the "cartridge stop pivot screw and nut", and the cartridge stop fell out of the gun in the middle of a trap range. Not good. I've found a parts view of the gun and where I can buy the parts, but was hoping to find a manual or instructions on how to disassemble the gun. Any help is appreciated!

Here's hoping you get this email post.
