Reloading Prvi Partizan or PMC brass

What has been your experience in reloading Prvi Partizan and PMC brass? Sometime it is cheaper to purchase loaded rifle rounds and hope to get reloadable brass in the bargain. I have purchased some PMC Bronze .223 and getting ready to get 22 hornet, 22-250 and 308 Priv Partizan. Any comments and recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks to all that have answered my post before. I have really enjoyed being a member of this forum. It has helped me a lot.

Ive used pmc in .223 and havent had much luck with it...the primer pockets are really tight and squared at the top...seems tough to seat the primer without beveling the outter edge of the pocket....

I have PMC brass in 3006, 44Mag, and 45ACP. I get better than average case life out of PMC brass. IMHO it is good stuff.

+1 for PMC pistol brass. When I first started match shooting, factory PMC was all I shot and that's what I reloaded later.

I've used Prvi rifle brass before and they're fine. There's one thing I don't like about Prvi, their primer hole. They don't bevel the edge so if you don't accurately (and slowly) line up the primer during priming, it will be dented. I use the Lee classic Turret press and with the lever priming system, I have to slow down when I prime Prvi brass. Not so with other types of brass.

Would I buy Prvi brass for reloading again? Probably only if a supplier is out of Winchester, Remington, and similar price brass. But then for some sizes, Prvi is the only manufacturer that is reasonable in prices.

twins, you could always bevel cut the primer pockets to make the primer seating easier.

I use the Lee Chamfer Tool that I use to remove military crimps to cut the non-beveled primer pocket cases. 3-5 twists and they are good to go.

Both work fine. PMC has a crimp that needs to be removed. Prvi might... depending on which round you buy.

PMC or PMP have slightly lower internal case capacity, but I always forget which one is which. Keep that in mind if you're trying to load super hot ammo.

As noted above, the PMC has a military crimp that has to be removed.

I had a bunch of Prvi Partizan brass processed and that annoying primer pocket problem was dissolved for me. I am on my second reloading of it and it has been great. PMC is fine also.

Same here. Virtually all of my 10mm reloads came from PMC ammo, which I considered quite good for factory 10mm. The brass cases, however, were excellent.

Prvi Partizan brass is decent. I've used it for .30-06, .270 Win, 8x57mm, .243 Win, and it is the only brand I use for 7.62x54R.

PMC, on the other hand, I consider to be absolute crap. The brass is always unpredictable - either too brittle, or too soft. Flash holes are always off-center, and under sized. And I often wonder if they know how to properly turn extractor grooves, and trim to length.

On my reloading bench, PMC is hardly a step up from A-Merc.
