Lignose Pocket Pistol Recoil Spring

I recently acquired a Model 2a Lignose in excellent condition except for a broken recoil spring.

Any ideas on finding one? With this weak a round (.25acp) could I get away with finding a spring at the hardware store that is the appropriate size?

A hardware store spring won't work. Check with Wolff gunsprings. If they don't have the exact spring, I'm sure they have one the same wire/coil diameter that you can trim to fit.
.25 acp in a tiny gun stresses the springs pretty good.
