Most of the data I have seen for 2400 has been in the 7 to 8 grain range with a ~ 100 grain bullet. I've done a little bit of testing with 7 grains out of a snubbie with a 100 grain RNFP and velocity was an unimpressive 750 fps or so average. I recently acquired a Single Six in .32 H&R with a 4 5/8" barrel, and if it ever stops raining and/or snowing I am looking forward to getting to the range to test out some heavier loads. I like 2400 for magnum loads and I'm looking forward to trying to turn the .32 H&R into a real magnum using it.

I didn't like 2400 in the 32 case. I did like top charges of H110 and Universal Clays as well as 231. Unique should be fine at max charges. rc

Do you have anything in beween those two powders? (HS6, AA#7, Herco, Blue Dot, 800X, Power Pistol, etc)

try blue dot with 85 grain bullets. If you are using a strong gun like SP101 you can go beyond max a bit and pressures/velocities will even out aroudn 1200fps. I will not publish loads beyond book here but it has and can be done in strong revolvers but not in the original H&Rs. S&W16 and Rugers can take a bit more. AA#7 had some recommended loads on one website with a heavy cast bullet lyman 11008 if memory serves. 800x has been reputed as a great powder in this caliber but you almost have to individually weight charges because it doesn't meter very well and charges are small. AA#7 should work very well as I've had good luck with ball powders. It's very flashy powder however. rc
