Cabella's in Buda has been a reasonably good source. I also use the local gun show with great luck assuming I'm willing to pay a few dollars more. Other than those primers have been hit and miss for me.

Powder Valley (in Kansas) has Wolf primers in stock at $25.50 a thousand (darned good price these days) plus hazmat and shipping. Ordered some on Jan. 25, both large rifle and small rifle magnum ones that were dropped off by UPS yesterday. Only ones they're out of stock seems to be large rifle magnum ones.

Bruno Shooters Supply in Phoenix also has Wolf small rifle magnum and large rifle standard ones in stock at about a dollar more per thousand; so says their web site:

The company in Russia that's been making these primers has an interesting web site. Check it out if you wish. I've emailed Wolf asking if they've ever stocked the heavy-metal-free primers they make for indoor ranges.

They are on the shelves again here in NE, Ks, $3.20/100 for CCI, $4.05/100 for Federal. Maybe things are loosening up??

Here in Norfolk, Virginia, Bob's Guns has recently raised their primer ration from 300/day to 1000/day, and they seem to be keeping them in stock with no problems ($31.80 per thousand). That's for pistol primers - I think they may have lifted the ration on rifle primers entirely.
