question on static cling
Have you guys ever had your powder cling to your powder hopper when you go to empty it. Is there any truth to using dryer sheets on the outside of the hopper to eliminate this?!?

Dryer sheets work really well - get the unscented type and wipe lightly inside and out.... -tINY |

I keep a sheet loosely crumpled inside the hopper when the measure is not filled. Works fine.

What static???
dryer sheets in the tumbler .
A shot of dry powdered graphite in the powder hopper , shake it about & cover the whole hopper. |

Just fill and empty the hopper a couple of times and DO NOT wipe it clean when done and the static cling will be gone.
The dryer sheets work great in the tumblers. Never had to use them in the charge hopper for powder, just did my recommendation above.

yep... have to wipe my dippers for test loads with the sheets, to keep light powders from clinging to the handles & outsides of the cup...
it works... never gave thought to wiping the throats of the plastic powder bottles, but that should work as well... |

Dryer sheets work, but the really cool way to eliminate static cling is to get a can of static guard. It's a spray that instantly dissipates static. I keep a can around the loading bench in the winter time. Dryer than a popcorn f*rt in here right now!

In my shop in the winter it gets pretty dry so I run a cold water vaporizer, static gone and its better for me sensitive little nose. (okay, okay its a big honking Bohunk nose but it really makes a difference)
Glad to hear of the dryer sheet trick though, learn something new every day.
