Silly Milt Sparks question...

I had everything picked out, a couple holsters a belt and mag holders. Is Milt Sparks not taking any orders??? I looked on the pages and wasn't able to find anything. Either that or I have rabies and don't know what I'm doing.
I live here in Boise, Id. and have contemplated just going to the shop like I did with my last order.

I haven't ordered from them in a while but the waits were getting so long (over their normal 6 months) that they changed their policy to only accept so many new orders each month. That left a window of 1-3 days per month that you could place an order. That may be what you are running into.

It seems that almost all of the premium quality holster makers are getting more orders than they can fill.

Yes, they have a quota for orders each month. From their homepage as of 3/26/09:

Quote:
We have now reached our order quota for the month of March and have ceased taking orders as of 3/5/09. We will resume taking orders on the first business day of April.
You need to call in your order (no web sales, yet). So give 'em a call first thing April 1 and place your order!!

They were running 15-18 days before the quota was filled. This month it was five days. I have it on my calendar to call on April first.

Be prepaired to call there about 50 times before you get through. I got lucky and ordered mine last month. Now in a short 6 months it will be here.

I've heard all the chatter about the wait... though I think they're worth it. I have a 55BN with an FBI cant for my Kimber TLE/RL II and I continually wish I hadn't gone with the cant. So... I'll work the wait no worries... looks like my order will be roughly around 350-4 bills. Might as well do it all at one eh!
Thanks for the help...
