Sticky Seller Feedback Threads

The feedback section could have sticky threads for those who are TFL members and sellers. (Such as WildAlaska, since he's the only one I can name right now)

In my opinion, that's not a good idea. I feel it would give undue attention to one or more sellers as opposed to the occasional seller who might do a bang-up job with his or her single sale per year. In other words, we don't want to play "favorites" on TFL.

If a member is not one of the "Sticky Sellers", and a prospective buyer of his goods sees that he's not, would that in itself be a perceived negative?

If a buyer/seller wants to find out about a seller/buyer, a simple search is all that is required. The number of positive threads weighed against any negative threads should tell them all they want to know.

Alright, how about a sticky thread suggesting that feedback for a given seller all be placed in the same thread?

Well, the idea would require some interaction with the Powers That Be. If someone is both a TFL member AND sells things on TFL they could request that a sticky thread be created for them. Basically, like eBay feedback pages. This would negate the concern of 1 sale/year or 500.

Has the system as it now exists not been working satisfactorily? I must have missed all the complaints up to this point.

I will of course leave the final say up to Marko Kloos as the board leader, but I don't see a page top heavy with sticky threads as a good solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

I was not intending to offend you. Consider the matter closed.
