Citori ejectors

Hello,
I removed the heavy gauge ejector springs from my Citori and replaced them with 1911 firing pin springs thinking that I wanted extractors. After trying the extractor method for a few years, I'd like to revert back to ejectors though I cannot compress the original springs enough as they are quite heavy. Can anyone offer help to get these reinstalled?
