Which Powder For Pistols

Going to the gun show soon and want to stock up some on reloading supplies. Being that I have not loaded much for the pistols lately I am out of touch with any new powders. I have Blue Dot, Bullseye and some unique that I use for 9mm up to 44 mag. Is there another good powder that would be suitable for several calibers?

I'm actually going to buy my first reloading setup tomorrow. I will be loading 9mm and .45 ACP. I have the same question as the OP. Is there one powder that will work well for light target loads for both of these, or should I buy two different powders?

Alliant Promo if your powder measure can handle bulky powders. Bullseye if it can't. (AA#2 should also be good but I haven't tried it.)

Cleanest, most consistent powder I've ever shot.

fast powder for light slugs/short barrel and slower for heavy slug/longer barrel is good 'rule-of-thumb'. BTW a longer barrel is required to stablilize the heavier slugs. generally speaking.
