H.M.Gering 7.65 auto pistol
I saw this pistol in a store in central florida.It was marked H.M.Gering-Leohardt its a 7.65/32acp.Arnstadt Germany was also on the gun.It is missing the extractor.This pistol is also know as Menta,and Beholla.They were seconary military for the German Army.circa1910.Does any one know of parts for these pistols.Its so ugly its kind of cool.

Actually the Beholla name came from a contraction of the names Becker and Hollander, the company which first designed and produced the gun in 1908. Later, other companies made it under license; which would explain the names of Menta, Stenda, and Leonhardt all having made a version of the same gun. It was a rather unique single action, striker fired pistol chambered only in 7.65mm. The gun overall was very well made, with a rather robust striker assembly, and a nicely designed sear/trigger system. Also note that the pistol itself is very flat with very clean slide flats and a rather snag free frame configuration.

Actually that's a nice looking pistol for the time. If you think that's ugly, you haven't seen a Dreyse!
