Rex powders?
Anyone heard of Rex powders? powder valley is selling them for about $10 a pound, and I'm thinking it may be worth checking them out for my 45acp stuff.
12 gauge, maybe later... I don't shoot enough shotgun this time of year to justify it...yet. ![]() |

Graf's has been selling it for a couple of years now, too. There isn't a lot of load data for it that I know of, but Graf's has some listed in their catalog and has a pamplet for free on their website. Only thing I have heard about this line of powders is that it is cheap, but it burns dirty. Might not be a big concern in a revolver, but might cause problems in an auto. Good luck!

Here's the data
http://www.rexpowder.com/ I've never used any but it appears to be a good powder for pistol/shotgun. I don't have a clue about how well it burns- clean or dirty. Give it a try and give us a range report. Everybody is interested in a cheaper powder if it's worth a hoot. |
