Reloading data for 17 rem

HI, this is my first time on the sight. I have just puchased a 17 Rem model 700 and am going to reload a few rounds. Of all my books the only data I can find is in the lyman 48th edition. They only list one bullet size ,a 25gr jacketed hollowpoint. I would like to use 20gr Hornady v-max with Win 760 powder.if anyone could send me info or stear me to the right book or sight I'de appreciate it. Thanks RRP

Hey rrp, Welcome. My Lymans 47th lists the same. I used Calhoon 25 grain DHP with 22.0 grains of IMR 3031, cronographed in the high 3900 fps range and it did a real number on coyotes. Ran out of the Calhoons and now I don't the rifle anymore, sigh. Work your loads up slowly and pay great attention to detail weighing out your powder.
