New Pistols

I'd like to start by saying "Thanks" for all the great advice I've gotten on this forum. And I've learned a lot from all the great posts.

I wanted to start slow into BP pistols so my 51 Navy .44 came in last Friday from Cabela's. It has the brass frame. And today, I got the 58 Remi .44 with adj sights that I bought from Gun Broker. Super happy with both of them. Got them all cleaned up and realized the #11 caps didn't fit right. Bought some #10 caps today. I'll be shooting Pyrodex P and will start with 15 grs on the 51 Navy and 25 on the 58 Remi. As soon as I get a chance to shoot them (have to drench and tag my sheep herd tomorrow) I'll post the results.

And BTW MEC, I bought your book.

Any and all advice would be welcomed.

Tony

Your charges should be just about ideal for both. That book took on quite a surge in the last few days. Hope it will be interesting and useful.
