Norinco NZ85

Hello there, newbie here who has his attention on the Norinco clone of the CZ85. Any comments on the model? I've been searching on those who has/had experience on them especially the interchangeability/compatibility issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys... .

Please dont take this the wrong way but a clone of a 1911 is fine and the Norinco 1911 seems to be from many many owner/smiths feedback , one of the most solid 1911 type pistols out there , sounds like a great first 1911 to build up so their clone of the CZ might be great and might not be , but like I said , why would u want a CZ clone , I love my rugers but their would be no point to a ruger clone , I was under the impression that the CZ was bought for 3 main reasons , Quality , Ergonomics,Price. I know there are other reasons but these seem to be the best ones.no bashing here my friend just an honest question for consideration or something to smack an answer up side my head lol

There are some nice CZ clones out there, such as the baby eagle, and EAA/Tangfolio Witness. Some of the selling points there are price (even cheaper than the CZ in some instances, and some different finishes and ergonomics. Unless this clone is excellent and comes in under $300, I would not bother.

Pepe308, they don't sell norico cz clones here in the USA but maybe someone can help you out from Canada. They sell them there. Mark

(Seeing that Pepe is in the Philippines, they will have availability to Norincos without any problems, IIRC.)

Personally, if they are made as well as their 1911 clones, I'd be willing to give them a try (if they are ever allowed to sell in the US again), provided they are priced as low as the other clones or, at the most, sold at CZ prices and chambered for 10mm.
