Stripping Diamondkote???

I have a Colt 1991 that has a 'gun blue' Diamondkote finish, which I'm pretty sure is one of the bake-on types. Well, I'm considering having it refinished with a color-case frame and everything else charcoal blue, but the place where I'd like to have the work done says they can't strip the Diamondkote, and I haven't heard back from the business where it was applied (may no longer be in business). Does anyone know of a company who can strip that kind of finish?
