SFS System--Reliable?

I'm thinking of getting a HiPower with the SFS System-Safe-Fast Shooting.
I looked at one and it was really impressive.

Does anyone have experience with the SFS? I understand they have been around for a few years. Cylinder and Slide installs them on 1911's.

I have searched other forums, but have had little luck finding anyone with experience with these.

Thanks................

adguy,

I live where Cylinder & Slide is located. I happened to be out to the range one day when their gunsmiths were conducting a 100,000 round torture test on a 1911 that had the SFS system installed on it. From what I saw, the system passed with flying colors.

I know two friends of mine who installed the SFS system on their 1911s and they like them very well.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Hawk and...

Hawk, thanks much.
Since you're from C&S Country, what is your opinion about the Pathfinder,
that is the cut down HiPower. It looks interesting, but I understand the recoil springs need to be changed every 300 rounds.
Thanks.

adguy,

Don't know anything about the HP Pathfinder. I knew a guy who had a 1911 Adventurer and had some problems with it.
