New toy came home today
 Marlin 1895gbl. She's a real beauty. Good wood metal Finnish is excellent. And the action is smooth. Just need a sling. Skinner peep sight and ammo |

Just got back from the gun club. She worked flawlessly. Shot about 15 rounds 300g Remington. Will be shooting 405 leadbwhen in get all my hand loading components ... She's a beauty and was banging my steel gong at 100yrd with the first 6 shots

Yes. Sights are good and true .... I'd say Remington /marlin has gotten their act together
