Not sure I have ever seen published .45Super load data. I have bought some Buffalo Bore .45 Super, and I think I have 100 or so brandy-new Starline .45 Super brass still sealed in the bag...but I've never handloaded .45 Super.

Used to have PowerPistol and Longshot when I owned 10mm.

If you are interested in the brass, please pm me. I don't think I will ever use it.

Joe at realguns.com used to publish his super data. He spent time working through the issues with super and went on to 460 rowland.

For some years his work was behind a paywall, but then I saw some out in the wild.

Just saw that he's hung it up - too bad as he definitely raised the bar.

Hodgdon has 45 Super data for Longshot.

Handloader #339 (Aug-Sep 2022) has several maximum-level 45 Super loads in Starline cases with CCI #300 primers. Their list includes Power Pistol. The bullets and loads are:

Nosler 185-grain JHP, seated to 1.215" COL, 11.2 grains.
Hornady 200-grain XTP, seated to 1.210" COL, 10.2 grains.
Hornady 230-grain XTP, seated to 1.215" COL, 9.3 grains.

These were fired in a Colt Double Eagle. If you have the same gun and the same components, knock the loads down 10% and work up. If your's is a different gun or if you are using any different components or shorter COLs, knock them down 15% and work up watching for pressure signs.
