Winchester 94-pre 64

Just acquired a Winchester 1894 (model 94) in .32 Win Spec. Seems ok but missing the barrel band. Serial# is 445XXX which makes it mfg around 1908-1909?

Trustworthy or have value? Still looking for parts...really cool looking rifle!

Thanks for all thoughts....

set up

How's it configured....carbine or rifle, plain (round) barrel or octagonal, what barrel length? A picture would be nice.

You’ve basically adopted a 115-year-old warhorse that’s just missing its belt so respect

Advice

Given the number of Win 94's manufactured take the time to find an exactly correct part ideally with similar wear to the gun. As another poster mentioned, while not a "warhorse" per se respect I'm darn sure I won't be looking too good at 115.
