Anyone carry a Sig P226 in an IWB holster?

Although I carry a Kahr 9mm rather comfortably, I would love to carry my Sig Sauer P226 using an IWB holster. I was wondering if anyone concealed carries a P226 on a regular basis that can recommend a good IWB holster. I hate to buy a holster that goes in a storage box after a few days of carry. Yes, it's much larger than my Kahr PM9.

Larger and heavier, too much gun for me to carry IWB but I also have a Kahr PM9 that I carry OWB. I'm not worried about concealment as much as all day comfort. I really like my 226 but it isn't a ccw pistol, great nightstand gun!!!!!!!

While I've got my old Blade-Tech.com iwb holster for my P226R, I see some manufacturers have discontinued my usual iwb holster preferences for a P226/226R.

Here's one I'd consider trying if I was to buy another holster today. It's a higher-end Galco, although there may be less expensive models from Galco, too:

For a kydex-material holster and less costly, I've bought the Comp-Tac brand:

Good luck

Gosh, no. I demoted my P226 from IDPA to home defense because the miniscule slide stop made slidelock reloads difficult. Nothing I would want to stuff in my pants.

I carry a S&W m&p compact as my EDC. 4” barrel 15 round dbl stack, so similar in size to a 226. Ive tried most every holster made over the years (and have tubs of old holsters as proof) lol.

I found the Tenicor AIWB to be the best around for that gun. I did replace the metal spring clips with another brand that was easier to get on/off. Im very happy with it. Good concealment, built in wedge, adjustable height “claw”, clips in the right places to tuck the butt into my body, full grip on the draw.

Not a P226, but I carried my P220 in a IWB Comp-tac holster for several years. I think the only practical difference from the 226 would be the thicker grip.

Well, I don’t carry my P226 due to the backwards controls but I do carry a Commander length 1911 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special holster with no problem.

Thanks for the responses. I posted today with essentially the same question so ignore that one. I was looking for responses in another forum category instead of this one.
Sorry!

I carried a P229 in an IWB Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 for good while, but finally gave in to the dark side and got a GLOCK 26.

I do from time to time. P226 SAO Elite. I use a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite holster in the appendix position.

I carried a 229 in a Bianchi IWB holster for a couple of years before I sold it. It was a great pistol in .357 SIG and I wish I had not sold it.
