Napoleon's dueling pistols have sold for $1.69 mil euros
Mon dieu! L'Empereur Napoleon's dueling pistols have been sold at auction. I don't have that type of pocket change so it wasn't me who bought it. The French Ministry of Culture has declared them a National Treasure and that they may leave the country temporarily. France has 30 days to make an offer to buy them.
link Please examine the tool beneath the top pistol. It's wood handle an appears to have a small cup. Priming tool?
