Another explosion at Goex. What is it with that plant? https://www.shreveportbossieradvocat...1d21133bd.html

Unfortunate.
Good to hear that there were no injuries. I make my own BP, now. So it won't impact me. But it may be yet another setback for guys unwilling to take the plunge into DIY propellant.

From what I've heard it was a small explosion with no injuries but they evacuated the plant and shut it down temporarily. Goex is my least favorite bp. I won't buy it if anything else is available. Except maybe for Elephant.

Most people buy what they can get, when they can get it.
So, Goex is quite popular. (Obviously.) Hopefully, this interruption is minimal.

I used to be that way. I've shot a lot of Pyrodex. If real bp becomes unavailable I'll go back to it. It just won't work in my flinter. I have a couple of pounds of Goex but it will be the last that I use.
