Gone in 60 Seconds...

Not the Ron Howard movie. Varget powder at mid south shooters supply.
By the time email notification comes in, it’s already sold.

Varget and H4350 are probably the hardest to find of all the powders

I have been working up recipes using other powders in various cartridges to conserve my small stash of Varget for my 6BR. VV540, H322, H335, Tac, SW Precision Rifle, and Norma 200 work as alternatives. I have seen all of those on various websites within the last month

It may be wise to be stingy with the powder and other supplies. Occasionally stuff shows up, either in the local shop or online. The other day my nephew texted me that powders were on the shelf at a local store. I was 2 hours away shooting sod poodles and too late to the show to get some.

I was walking around our local Cabelas yesterday and on a shelf next to the shotgun shells sat two boxes of CCI large rifle magnum primers for $65.95. Even though I didn’t really need them I did grab one box, but left the other one for someone else. I am starting to sweat SPP’s though, I’m down to 6000 on the shelf and about that many loaded in 9mm, .38sp, and .357 mag.

It had to be one of those rodenty-type things. Trust me to guess the wrong one.
