Looking for
I have my fathers old H&R 999. It's an early one. I'm in need of a Joint Screw (Series To P)
Product #: 276730 according to Numrich. Been looking for a couple of years and cant come up with one. Anyone out there have one or know of one? Heck I would buy a gun to get the part if the price was not out of line. Any thoughts or help will be appreciated. |

It wouldn't be cheap but a competent gunsmith should be able to make that.

Check the 'Bay... several guys on there strip guns and sell the parts. I have had good luck on there numerous times locating obsolete parts.

I have to agree with burrhead. For a competent smith making a screw is not all that hard. Years ago I would buy my blanks from Brownell's as well as dies.
