Pepper Sprays - A new design
Generally, I am not a fan of pepper sprays and think they are useless (especially if you have a much better alternative.. a good 9mm. lols), but sometimes they do come in handy.. but never liked the idea of carrying a "spray bottle"
Recently came across this site: http://www.littleviper.com/ - A woman has invented a new design which I think is awesome (bracelet based pepper spray). Thinking of getting one for my wife (she has poor eyesight and hates carrying guns anyways). (For those too lazy to visit the site, this is what it looks like: A Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2NEFIRcPPo The real reason I am posting here is, had a few questions - can anyone tell me IF EXPORTING PEPPER SPRAYS is legal? (importing it into my country will depend on US export law regarding these) - Does it come under the same category as firearms? (I contacted the site owner but she had no idea about export). - Is this (this specific pepper spray) a good self defence item? (Especially for women. compared to maybe a taser?)

I cannot imagine that a woman would be able to get anywhere near the face of an assailant who grabs her from behind.
And WOW! THREE FEET of range. Why, that almost one whole meter. I call it another solution in search of a problem. |

Not enough capacity to be effective.

I also found it annoying that "problem" it seemed intended to solve was that women just naturally don't pay attention to their surroundings. I think there's a better solution to that one... |

It's just over her shoulder I bet she can direct hair spray anywhere she wants The same scenario applies for the "contact" pistol shots |

You'll also need to ensure it's legal in Pakistan. Not Karkhano legal, but really legal. Quote:

It also takes BOTH hands to operate. If she is attacked, what are the odds she'll have both free?
