9mm recipe with Barnes 115 grain XPD

Hey friends! I'm working up a recipe for 9mm Luger. My bullet is the Barnes XPD 115 grain copper hollow point. I am using Power Pistol. This bullet it not in any of my reloading guides. Since Barnes did not show Power Pistol, I gave them a call. They recommended a range of 4.4 to 5 grains with a COAL of 1.125. The Hornady guide shows up to 6 grains with a jacketed hollow point. I loaded up a few to try, but it seems very light to me. I plan to chrono this recipe and see how it works. Anyone work up a recipe for this combination using the CCI 500 primers?

The Barnes monolithic bullet is longer than other bullets of the same weight and require more pressure to engrave it into the rifling. Both of those factors indicate lighter charge weights than conventional bullets of the same weight.

Just ran the same load, 115 TAC-XP over Power Pistol per Barnes' recommendation. Same result - very slow, barely cycled the action of my M&P. The good news is I didn't have to chase brass, it dropped on the bench right in front of me. I am going to try a little more PP, 0.1 grain at a time. Those copper 115's are really long for such a small case, but I am going to give it one more try.
