1897 black powder shooting test
![]() Snapshot 1 (04-07-2013 5-11 PM) by Don'tkillbill, on Flickr ![]() Snapshot 2 (04-07-2013 5-15 PM) by Don'tkillbill, on Flickr Epic failure on the slamfire. Not sure if it was my paper shells/crimps or the shotgun follower. Lots of smoke. Check out the video. http://youtu.be/dgoHxtBevVI Man it took a bit of work to clean the shotgun that evening. |

Did you use real black powder or a black powder substitute?
For me, 80 grains of Goex FFg and 1 1/8 ounce shot breaks trap birds as good as modern shells do. |
