My new SIG P938 SAS

I have to share my new CCW acquisition. I sold my P238 to buy this even though the P238 was probably a better carry option. After shooting this yesterday the 9mm is pretty snappy in this guy. The P238 in .380ACP was much easier to shoot. But the P938 did fine. It had no malfunctions and it's not that bad to shoot for the first 20 rounds. After that it starts to feel snappy. But it's not meant to be a range gun.

Honestly I only bought this thing because I love the look of these SAS models. If they'd had the SAS P238 when I bought my P238 several years ago (before the P938 was released) I would have gotten one and likely never gotten this P938. But I figured why not go with the 9mm. I did hate to sell my P238. It was a great gun but I never carried it anymore. I always carry my Kahr K9 or MK9 now. I really just got this one to take the photos.

A few other photos

Here's one of my primary CCW pistols, if the P938 doesn't become a safe queen.

Here's one of the MK9 I manipulated to show the laser on.

Looks nice.
But there's something wrong.
That target has no holes.

lol I love your write up. You are absolutely correct, IMO. I had both the p238 and p938. For me, I just got rid of my p938 because it was "too snappy", my exact words. I ended up picking up a full size 1911 in 9mm. But I do love the look of that SAS!

I have a Sig 238 and a 938, the 9mm is slightly more in the recoil dept but both are easy shooters. My 938 is equipped with G10 grips and the extended mag which are real advantages over wood and short magazines while no more difficult to carry. I carry either one on my skinny body without issue and all the controls are the same, like my 1911.

The little Sigs are handsome little devils, indeed. My wife has a P238 which she chose for its advantages in concealment. I personally carry a G26 for more capacity, but my wife also dresses more stylishly than me.
