Springfield XD-S 9mm test

I had the opportunity to shoot Springfield Armory's new 9mm version of the XD-S pistol for Personal Defense World. It was to promote the cover story on the same gun in the current issue of Combat Handguns magazine.

I was a big fan of the XD-S in .45 ACP since I shot it at Media Day at the Range a couple of years ago. I'm not a 9mm person for CCW carry, even though I love 9mm as a plinking round. But I did like the XD-S 9mm.

Here are the two videos I did on the gun. One for Personal Defense World, and the other one for my YouTube channel. They each have some unique content.

I just bought the xds 9 last friday and put 275 rnds through it last weekend.
Lead, fmj, hornady and gold dot +p it shot every thing well with o failures of any kind.I had the same results with the 45 as well.
I do not know if it is just mine or what but the trigger in my 9 is much better than my 45.Both had very good accuracy and the 9 was easy to double triple tap due to the fact that it is actually not super light, its around the same weight as my G19 just a smaller package.
I bought this in hopes the wife would take it and give back my P-01.
It was a no go,she said its nice but I rather keep the CZ.
