Thanks for the help on the semi-auto choice
Thanks everyone for the help on choosing a semi-auto shotgun. I ended up with a slightly used Benelli Montefeltro. It is essentially a new gun, but was playing a demo role before i got it. The gun is in perfect condition and I bought it for $650 at the local gun shop. The Montefeltro does not come with the hardshell case, so I went to Benelli's web site, but they are out of stock. I could go with some other options, but their case is made for this gun, and is set at a VERY reasonable price.
I am going to break some clays with it this weekend, so I will let you guys know what I think, (from a beginner's perspective). Jim |

"Good gun", yes for sure, "Good shooting"? It's more accurate than I am right now, and a buddy proved that to me.
Just what I wanted... ![]() |
