Colt 6320 and Colt 6920
In selecting between these two rifles, what are the considerations? Is there a material difference in how the barrels handle 52-55 gr plinking ammo?
My purpose in owning one of these is A)personal defense, B) food, and C) community defense. Thanks! - Smokiniron |

I didn't know much on the 6320 so I did a little digging around. Its a ban era AR from Colt that was designed as a lightweight option for LE use. Its got a lightweight barrel and 1/9 twist rate as opposed to the 1/7 twist on the 6920. It also has the older A1 sights. From what I read its a pretty rare AR and not too many out there. I'd just go with the 6920 and learn to use it well. Its probably Colt's best selling commercially available AR and considered by some to be the gold standard. I own one and its never given me any trouble.

Makes sense!
Thanks, Spyderdude... That's clear. I have a SAW Sport 15, got it last fall (pre-election) at $599, but there are more trigger fingers in the family than I have hardware to fill them.
