Normal or abnormal

Is it normal for an ar-15 bolt to wear a little more on the locking lug closest to the extractor. i look at my lugs and the first 3 have ever so slightly more wear than the rest of the lugs.

Abby Normal.

No, wait, normal!

The lugs next to the extractor are most likely to fail. LMT and ArmaLite slightly shorten the bolt lug opposite of the extractor in an attempt to spread the load equally over the other six lugs.

k cool. why do i worry so much about my guns rather than just have fun and shoot them and replace parts as they break rather than gear up and have 2 of everything. i guess i am always thinking of a **** hit the fan scenerio or something.
