Old Grump

I found out this morning Old Grump passed in his sleep. I put this here because he loved black powder. He was quite a character and will be sorely missed.

My sincere sympathies to his family at this time of loss.

Somehow, I have a feeling that when all of our moccasins follow the same path that he has just walked and we reach the land of eternal peace, upon our arrival, we will hear the crack of a rifle and find him with a big smile on his face at the range up there.

May he rest in peace and the memory of him put a smile on our faces and pleasure in the memories of him.

Thanks for posting the news Hawg.

Seemed like the real deal. Had done some deals with him and was impressed by the man.

Rest In Peace...

Condolences to the family. We all have to leave someday. In your sleep is about as good as it gets. He'll be missed.

Thanks Hawg...

... for letting us all know. Old Grump will be greatly missed by all of us.

I can't say it better than BBB said it, so I can only second what he said.

RIP Old Grump... I'll see ya at the big shoot in the next life. (there's no shortage of cap, ball or powder there).

My most sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.

Birch

Read his comments here and there through-out FLF. Didn't know him all that well myself. But it indeed is a sad occasion for those that did. My condolences to his family and those who considered Old Grump their friend.
